If you remember, a couple of days ago I created a Twitter account to share with the world some of the ‘Behind the Scenes’ action…
In 2005, when I was living in Bristol, UK, which is a beautiful city, I signed up for a counselling skills course at Bristol City College. The lectures name was Frankie (I can’t remember her surname) and she was, in my opinion, an excellent lecture who knew her stuff.
The purpose of DBC having a Dyslexia Manifesto is to share, in broad brushstroke terms, what our beliefs, values, and philosophical thinking is about dyslexia. I think in a way it expresses our mission and our vision too. Perhaps I need to add a section on the DBC website to state what these are.
The special guests that I invited to join me in this weeks podcast was Antonio, the founder of Dyslexic Brain Coach, and Amy, my lovely wife, who is an amazing school teacher and part of the DBC Team.
t is easy to make the assumption that we have to present written information to a ‘dyslexic’ adult in none written format. For example, by converting written information into an audio file and sending this to the ‘dyslexic’ adult rather than the written information itself.
